Coming down the mountain and happened upon this gem in the rough. The haddock sandwich and fries were super fresh and fried crispy. My boy topped it off with a caribou caramel scoop and a half..I couldn't resist a bite! Delicious....we hope to be back soon.

The burgers were exceptional. Great beef patties, fresh crunchy lettuce and excellent buns. Perfect combination. We then split a banana split for dessert, which was also excellent. The staff could not be nicer. We will be back!

Definitive Maine roadside stand experience with excellent food, service, and ice cream. Eat outside at the picnic tables or take it home. Or just sit in an Adirondack chair and enjoy a generous serving of Shain's ice cream.

We stopped at this food stand after a hike to the top of mount battie what a pleasant surprise! the lobster roll,fried clams, scallops and haddock all were prepared as well as any we had in Maine the prices are very competitive what a gem.

Fast, delicious, friendly, affordable. they have fresh seafood and yummy ice cream.

Had scallop & shrimp rolls in a basket with fries and coleslaw, with a side of onion rings. Seafood rolls were excellent and lots of filling. Fries are okay and onion rings okay. Price was excellent.

Always fresh & hot food. Hamburgers awesome but better is the fried seafood. All to go so a short hop, skip and jump you can dine at the top of Mt.Battie with a great view. The owners are friendly people. Con: closed during winter! 😥

Amazing food cooked fast and well at a great price

My wife and I both got a cheeseburger which were overcooked and very dry. As fast as they came out must've been precooked and then warmed up.
